The passionate owners are Parisian Restaurateur Laurent Richer & his fashion stylist fiancée Kelly O'Keeffe. Richer has an impressive CV. He trained at Vatel Hotel School in Paris & has honed his service skills at establishments as salubrious as the city's Hotel de Crillon & later at London's Landmark & Soho Hotels. He has even spent time under the watchful eye of Gordon Ramsay at Maze. O'Keeffe's fashion background is evident in the chic decor with its silvery flock wallpaper, interesting artwork & a huge glittery chandelier, making this a favourite with locals & increasingly becoming a destination restaurant.
The Modern European menu offers a fine range of French & Italian dishes with a twist, such as baked sea bass in a potato crust with sun-dried tomato & smoked caviar of aubergine, or Fillet of beef with Lyonnais potatoes, black peppercorn sauce & parsnip chips. The seasonal menu also includes staples like Beef Bourguignon & a Fish stew packed with prawns, cod, mussels, langoustine & seasonal vegetable with a pastry topper. Fresh pastas & risotto's are always available & the deserts are a perfect finale, the chocolate fondant with a molten centre being a favourite signature dish.
